It’s Time to update my blog with some special place to stay!
We’re not maker of history, we are made by history – Martin Luther King JR
When we talk about Historical places, we will think about Kuala lumpur, Melacca, Pulau Pinang and yea, IPoh.
So……Next Station after Penang, and now we are in IPOH~ The capital city of Perak state, Malaysia and also one of the largest cities in the country!

As I mentioned about historical, thus, I’m Ain’t going to try any boutique hotel in Ipoh, since everyone posting about it, so…..here we are, the Sekeping…kuih? sekeping roti? Haha…..Ain’t not ofcourse!

It’s the Sekeping Kong Heng, Ipoh

(By Sekeping Serendah Retreat, Malaysia)

It’s just located right in between Plan B Ipoh and Restoran Ipoh Kong Heng. From the little alley, walk straight till you saw a turning point on your left hand side, and here is their reception.

There’s few types of rooms here, the rates are from RM80-800, and we chose the two-single bed room, which named as “Annex Type C’’.
And what’s so special about here?
As you may see, very obviously it is renovated from a very old building at Ipoh Old town. Even though it is renovated from old building but it still remains the original design.

There are not many lights here because they use the natural lighting here. But anyway, it is still bright during the night. Just for you guys information, I’m dark-blind but yet I still can get the way to our room during night. Hence, I don’t think there’s any problem with it.

For “Annex Type C’’ room, it contains two single beds, two towels, two pairs of shoes, and of course never the less, the room is air-conditioned.

They also provided 3 in 1 coffee, tea bags, sugar with hot water and cups here.

Guests have to share bathroom and toilet which is not attached in the room.

What can you do at here? Well, just go downstairs, there are a lot of shops to explore and there’s Plan B café for you to try out. OR if you prefer to try out something local, just go to the the restaurant Thean Chun to have caramel custard pudding, and never the less, their “Ho Fan” noodles at the entrance of the restaurant.
. Lazy to walk? Ofcourse our considered owner here thinking in the same point of view like all of you. Well, you can Just ask them and ride the bicycle provided by the them right in front of the reception counter.
So, is it worth to stay? We would like to say, tryout everything in your life, so……WHY NOT?
